핀포인트 아트센터는 개관전 이정식 《두 사람》을 맞이해 

이은주(이정식)작가의 『코가 부러진 피노키노의 서른 번째 크리스마스』를 제작했다.

『코가 부러진 피노키오의 서른 번째 크리스마스』는 한 개인의 파국적인 사건에서 출발해, 

폭력·가난·장애·돌봄이 뒤엉킨 한국 사회의 얼굴을 적나라하게 비추는 잔혹 동화다. 

보호와 복지를 내세운 시설과 기관, 선의로 포장된 어른들의 세계가 사실은 얼마나 폭력적이고 자기보존적인 체계인지 집요하게 드러낸다. 

동시에 가장 처절한 고통의 순간들마저 익살로 비틀어, 절망과 비극을 웃음의 언어로 통과시키는 아주 서늘하면서도 통쾌한 감각을 보여준다.

To mark its inaugural exhibition, Two People by Lee Jung-shik, PINPOINT ART CENTRE has produced the publication The Thirtieth Christmas of Pinocchio with a Broken Nose by author Lee Eun-ju (Lee Jung-shik).

The Thirtieth Christmas of Pinocchio with a Broken Nose is a dark fairy tale that begins with an individual's catastrophic event to nakedly expose the grim face of Korean society—a reality where violence, poverty, disability, and caregiving are intricately entangled. It relentlessly reveals how institutions and organizations promoting protection and welfare, along with an adult world masked in good intentions, are in fact deeply violent and self-preserving systems.

At the same time, the book twists even the most agonizing moments of suffering into sharp humor, delivering a chilling yet exhilarating sensation that filters despair and tragedy through the language of laughter.
